COLORADO LATINO FESTIVAL 2017 (Photos)
The Colorado Latino Festival is a joint collaboration of Barrio E’ and the Latino Chamber of Commerce for the Community to enjoy.
In partnership with Barrio E’ for a second year in a row, the Colorado Latino Festival, dubbed by its hashtag #latinxfest, will showcase the City of Longmont, Colorado as one of the most diverse cities in the state, highlighting its Latino diversity, heritage, culture, music, gastronomy, prominent figures and trends highlighting demographic, social and economic forecasts. Similar to last year’s festival, we will also offer numerous resources, opportunities and valuable information from over 100 organizations, an expanded number of food vendors and choices, more than 40 musical and cultural acts and fun and educational activities for all ages, all which are offered for free, and which attracted a record 7,000 visitors to all corners of Colorado and surrounding states. In the upcoming year, Barrio E’ will feature the festival as a main component of The Multicultural Project, a movement aimed at creating diversity and inclusion in communities through coalitions of organizations and through the creation of community multicultural centers.
