Disney, Facebook, Google Media Blitz to Promote Vaccine Gains

A massive vaccine education campaign launches Thursday to answer Americans’ questions about Covid-19 vaccines and emphasize immunization as the key to resuming life as it was before the pandemic.

Dubbed “It’s Up To You,” the campaign’s ads will run across television, radio and social media in English and Spanish, including on Disney, Facebook Inc., Spotify Technology SA and Alphabet Inc.’s Google and YouTube units. Other companies are also creating content for their services and donating media. The nonprofit Ad Council and COVID Collaborative are spearheading the $52 million initiative.
