The positions they are looking for will be assigned in pharmacies and stores, call centers and warehouses, inventory and other front line individuals. There is no need for a person to person interview. The application process, interview, and job tryouts will be done virtually.
Walgreens has also announced recently that they are looking for 9,500 new employees across the United States. They will be assigned as customer service associates, pharmacy technicians, and shift leads. In their official Twitter account, they wrote: “If you or someone you know as been furloughed because of Covid-19 we have openings to help with the increased demand we are seeing in our retail stores and distribution centers.”
Amazon recently announced that they will hire 100,000 part-time and full-time positions across the United States. They will be assigned at the fulfillment centers and delivery networks due to the demand of the delivery services because of social distancing.
