HP Omen 15 Review

Lisa Gade reviews the HP Omen 15, a thin and light gaming laptop with a new and stylish design. The Omen starts at $1,500 and it has a quad core Intel i7-4710HQ 2.5 GHz CPU with Turbo Boost to 3.5 GHz. The 4.68 lb. 0.78” think laptop is clad in metal and it has NVIDIA Optimus switchable graphics with Intel HD 4600 for light tasks and NVIDIA GTX 860M 2 GB Maxwell graphics for graphically heavy tasks and gaming. The laptop has a 15.6” 1080p IPS gloss touch screen and zone-programmable RGB backlighting. 2×2 Intel WiFi AC-7260 and Bluetooth 4.0 are standard and you can get it with 8 or 16 gigs of RAM and 128, 256 or 512 gig SSDs. Other features include two cooling fans for decent temperatures and noise levels when gaming, HDMI and mini DisplayPort, 4 USB 3.0 ports and a USB Ethernet adapter.
