The 28-year-old suspect remains on the run.
SAN ANTONIO — An argument over rent at a northwest-side apartment complex resulted in two leasing office employees being stabbed and an ongoing search for the suspect, officials say.
According to a San Antonio police sergeant, a disgruntled 28-year-old resident of the Broadstone Ranch apartments, located just down the street from UTSA, arrived to speak about his rent when he pulled out a knife and slashed at the victims. They’re expected to be OK after being taken to a local hospital.
SAPD said officers arrived and set up a scene outside the suspect’s apartment, believing he may have been inside. They eventually left the complex after determining he wasn’t.
The victims, both women, were identified only as being in their 60s and late-20s.
