PHOENIX (AZFamily) — One person has died and two others are seriously injured after a crash involving a bus in west Phoenix early Monday morning.
The crash that included bus and a minibus happened around 5 a.m. near 79th Avenue and Van Buren Street. Phoenix Police said when officers arrived, one man had severe injuries and later died at the scene.
Police said witnesses said the man was struck by a bus while on the property.
Phoenix Fire Captain Shaun DuBois said two other people had to be extricated from the crash and were both taken to the hospital in critical condition.
This police scene is still active and an investigation into the crash is underway.
