The Big 12 Conference announced its annual all-conference and individual awards Wednesday.
Iowa State (10-2) enjoyed its first 10-win season in program history and has a chance to claim its first Big 12 title. The Cyclones will play Arizona State in Saturday’s championship game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Several Cyclones were recognized for their play this season Wednesday. Here is a look at which Iowa State players earned Big 12 accolades.
Jaylin Noel: Co-Special Teams Player of the Year
The senior wide receiver shared the honor with BYU’s Will Ferrin.
The shifty Noel had 13 punt returns for a total of 199 yards, the second-most in the Big 12. He also had three kick returns for a total of 53 yards.
Offensively, he is enjoying a big year, with a career-high 1,013 yards on 67 receptions, with six touchdowns.
