I think it’s time to legalize, though many of us, including… it was a bipartisan effort to pass the House version, and while we have some problems with this bill, we still think it’s time,” Rep. Anita Burroughs, D-Glen, said. “It’s 2024, and if we didn’t pass something now, there’s a possibility that nothing might have happened for six years.”The bill will face full votes next week.
