Detroit-based Little Caesars is targeting the Denver area for its next expansion and unveiled plans to open 20 to 25 franchised restaurants in the coming years. The company said it is targeting areas from Denver to Colorado Springs, but has a specific interest in opening locations in south Denver in areas such as Littleton.
Marci DuBois, the director of franchising for Little Caesars, said it was focused on the Denver metro primarily to keep up with other pizza chain competitors. The Denver area currently has fewer than 100 pizza restaurant locations, which DuBois said means there is a lot of opportunity to grow the brand in the Mile High City.
She added that Denver’s presence of young families and its expanding suburbs are also motivating the expansion.
