SAN ANTONIO — Authorities are searching for a 14-year-old girl who went missing Monday from the Southwest Side.
San Antonio Police said Ava Lucia Sanchez, known as Lucy, was last seen at a home off Highcrest Drive near Palo Alto Road.
Sanchez is 5-foot-7, 130 pounds, with brown eyes and hair. She was last seen wearing a gray long-sleeve shirt, blue pants, brown shoes, and carrying an eggshell-gray backpack.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts is urged to contact the San Antonio Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit at (210) 207-7660.
Authorities remind the public that harboring a runaway child is a Class A misdemeanor in Texas.
