The University of Miami Alumni Association brought Cane pride to New York City for the final stop of its The Future Is Now tour, welcoming nearly 350 alumni and friends for an unforgettable evening of connection, celebration, and forward-looking momentum.
The Wednesday evening program featured University President and CEO and UHealth President Joe Echevarria, alongside senior vice president for student affairs and alumni engagement Pat Whitely; football head coach Mario Cristobal; and two-time Emmy Award–winning NFL analyst and Hurricanes legend Greg Olsen. Together, they reflected on the University’s enduring legacy while casting a bold vision for its next century of impact.
The New York gathering marked the final stop of the nationwide tour, following events in Dallas, Los Angeles, and Houston, and capped a series designed to celebrate 100 years of excellence while affirming a simple but powerful message: The future of the U is already in motion.
