Our fourth Industry Eats lineup — and first of 2026 — features “some of the places I genuinely love and frequent on my days off,” says America DeLoach.
DeLoach is the founder of locally based business, Salsas Don Sebastian, as well as the brains behind Chesterfield’s beloved — and ever growing — Latino Farmers Market. The market will be entering its third season this April, setting up shop in a new, larger location at Chesterfield Technical Center.
From fine dining to quick bites, here’s where Deloach dines:
Oceano and (newly opened) Centro are all about exceptional hospitality and vibrant flavors. The service is warm and thoughtful, and the tres leches is unforgettable. Dining here always feels celebratory yet personal.
Abuelita’s is comfort food at its finest, filled with nostalgic Mexican flavors and family recipes that feel like home in every bite.
Flavor-packed and lively, Empanadas Market serves the best—and truly authentic—Argentinian empanadas in town. They’re also a proud vendor at the Latino Farmers Market, which makes me love them even more.
At Julep’s, you’ll find Southern hospitality done right, with elegance and heart. I especially love dining here with my beautiful friend Amy — she brings such chic energy to the experience.

Uliveto is refined Italian cooking with soul. It’s a little cozy and lively inside, but that pasta al limone is one of my absolute favorites—I can never resist it.
L’Opossum is pure culinary artistry—daring, imaginative and unforgettable. This is my go-to for special occasions.
Acacia is a place very close to my heart. This is where I met my husband 14 years ago, and I continue to love the family behind it and everything they create. I simply can’t get enough of this restaurant.

Stella’s is a Richmond classic. When I’m missing Greece, this is the closest thing. I adore the family, the flavors, and everything they do—such a big fan.
Shagbark is a beautiful celebration of local ingredients and Southern heritage, with seasonal and creative dishes that always impress.
Mama J’s Kitchen is an absolute institution. Soulful, comforting and deeply rooted in the Richmond community—if you’re from Richmond, you have to have eaten here.

And last but definitely not least is Perly’s — so, so good. A place I crave often and can never skip.
