What residents should know
Pit Stop Cafe opened on Feb. 23 at 1 S. FM 3351, Ste. 150, store management told Community Impact.
Staff said the shop has the same owners and employee base as before, with a similar menu and expanded food options.
The business is no longer associated with the Scooter’s Coffee branding.
On the menu
Pit Stop Cafe baristas offer customers a full espresso menu featuring iced and hot coffee, tea and more, according to their website. There’s also a new selection of dirty sodas, staff said.
The new, expanded food menu offers both breakfast and lunch options, from bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches to soups, wraps and more for lunch.
The context
According to previous reporting from Community Impact, Scooter’s Coffee may not be gone forever near Boerne—a new location with entirely different ownership is being planned off of I-10, near Cascade Caverns Road.
The Boerne location will be owned by Shaughnessy and Andrew Davis, who own the Scooter’s Coffee in Kerrville, but there is still no exact opening timeframe for opening since the shell has yet to be constructed.
