Fox Sports’ “Desert Double” at Phoenix Raceway over the weekend produced gains for both the NASCAR Cup Series and NTT IndyCar series.
Sunday’s NASCAR race on FS1 averaged 2.84 million viewers, up slightly from 2.82 million last year for the same race on FS1. That’s also 19% better than FS1’s Cup races last season and the cable network’s best audience since a simulcast of Game 1 of ALCS Game 7 (3.54 million).
On Saturday, Fox drew 1.25 million viewers for the second IndyCar race of the season, up 77% from the second race of the 2025 season at Thermal (704,000). The IndyCar race was the series’ best figure for a Saturday event since Texas in 2020 (also 1.25 million).
