FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — The Atlanta Falcons have officially signed defensive lineman Chris Williams. The contract is reported to be a one-year deal, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Williams comes to the Falcons after spending the last two seasons with the Chicago Bears, where current Falcons general manager Ian Cunningham was the assistant general manager. Over the last two seasons in Chicago, Williams accumulated four sacks, 37 total tackles (four for a loss) and nine quarterback hits.
The Bears acquired Williams via a trade in 2024, sending a sixth-round pick to the Cleveland Browns in exchange for Williams and a seventh-round pick.
