FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — The U.S. Postal Service released a new set of stamps called Lowriders Forever.
The stamps celebrate the artistry of Mexican American car culture.
The pane of 15 stamps features five 1940s–1980s GM models, including “The Golden Rose” and “El Rey”.
The 5 cars featured:
- 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme (“Pocket Change”).
- 1946 Chevrolet Fleetline (“Let the Good Times Roll/Soy Como Soy”).
- 1964 Chevrolet Impala (“The Golden Rose”).
- 1958 Chevrolet Impala (“Eight Figures”).
- 1963 Chevrolet Impala (“El Rey”).

The stamps, designed by Antonio Alcalá, feature photographs by Humberto “Beto” Mendoza and Philip Gordon, with pinstriping by Danny Alvarado.
Sold in a pane of 15 priced at $11.70.
