Eddie Hall teases huge MMA super fight this summer as he provides update on Dillon Danis fight

The World’s Strongest Man has teased he has a super fight in the works for this summer.

Last April, Eddie Hall made his professional debut in MMA, taking on fellow former World’s Strongest Man, Mariusz Pudzianowski.

‘The Beast’ was awarded the KO win after just 30 seconds, finishing Pudzianowski with huge ground-and-pound blows.

Despite that, following the fight, there was some controversy as Pudzianowski accused Hall of illegal strikes.

Following his fight against the Polish fighter, Hall revealed that he was in talks to take on Dillon Danis in MMA, in what would’ve been a huge mismatch in terms of weight.

Despite that, fans were hopeful that the 38-year-old may somehow find himself fighting Francis Ngannou next, but it was recently announced that Ngannou will take on Philipe Lins on the first ever Netflix MMA event.

However, that still could be the case as Hall has teased a potentially huge MMA fight this summer, claiming that he is currently in talks.

“I’ve got a big fight lined up later in the year which I can’t say just yet,” Hall told Duelbits.

“But keep your eyes peeled. I’m hoping to have a big-name fight in June and then again before the end of the year.

“I really want to fight Dillon Danis, he’s got to be the most hated guy in MMA. I can’t believe how arrogant he is. He says that he seriously thinks he can take me, but he’s deluded. Danis is definitely running scared, if he wasn’t, then he would’ve signed a contract to fight me by now.”

Danis has a few different combat competitions booked, however, with his track record, it is unclear whether they will go ahead.

He is set to take on Colby Covington at RAF 7 on March 28, and it was recently announced that he will grapple Arman Tsarukyan on a Hype FC event.

The initial idea of an MMA fight between Hall and Danis seemed like a long shot considering the whopping difference in weight between the two.
