If Lambeau Field was a person, it would be embarrassed by all the plaudits.
Madison-based RotoWire, which specializes in fantasy sports news, player information, and tools for daily fantasy sports and online sports betting, asked NFL fans to rank stadiums on their bucket list. Lambeau Field was No. 1, by a lot.
RotoWire polled 215 football fans, with 20.9% saying Lambeau Field was on their bucket list. SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, home to the Rams and Chargers, was second at 14.4%. RotoWire said that of the 45 people who placed Lambeau Field first, only five identified as Packers fans.
“That is not home-stadium loyalty. That is collective reverence,” RotoWire wrote in its description of survey results, also calling it “the ultimate bucket-list pilgrimage.”
Rounding out the top five were Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas at 9.8%, AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, at 8.8%, and Soldier Field in Chicago at 5.1%.
Three factors affected fans’ choices: history, architecture and the city the stadium is in. Lambeau was hands-down the top choice regarding historic venues.
RotoWire said it surveyed 215 NFL fans in March 2026. Respondents selected one stadium from all 30 NFL venues (32 teams play in 30 buildings, as SoFi Stadium and MetLife Stadium are each shared by two franchises). The survey was distributed to RotoWire’s audience of NFL and fantasy sports fans. Results represent fan opinion and are not statistically representative of the general population.
Lambeau is No. 1 in Sports Illustrated’s ranking of all 30 NFL stadiums, second in one USA TODAY ranking and seventh in another. Lambeau Field is the second-toughest stadium in sports for visiting teams to get a win, according to Fox Sports. Even Bears Wire ranked Lambeau sixth among the best, 17 places ahead of Chicago’s Soldier Field.
A study from sports blog Deadspin in 2025 ranked Lambeau Field as the fifth top bucket list experience among all professional sports stadium. It was the top football choice. Wrigley Field in Chicago, Fenway Park in Boston, Yankee Stadium in New York, all hosting baseball teams, and Madison Square Garden in New York, which hosts basketball and hockey, led the list.
Also in 2025, Bookies.com, for the third consecutive year, ranked Lambeau Field No. 1 for the best NFL stadium to visit based on pregame experience.
Lambeau Field regularly rates well in the NFL’s annual “Voice of the Fan” survey.
