LOGAN – On March 27th at Utah State University, the Nucleus Boost Conference brought in entrepreneurs from around the state of Utah to work one-on-one with aspiring business leaders.
“No one has it all figured out, and I want students to know that,” said Tyler Jennings, the creator of Nucleus Boost, and part of the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity.
Boost is a part of the Nucleus Institute, a state-funded program focused on innovation. The conference travels across the state of Utah, made for business owners, students and anyone who wants to build.
Jennings teaches entrepreneurship at Utah Valley University, and he said the problems his students face “isn’t from a lack of skill, it was from a lack of self-belief.”
Alongside speakers, business leaders hosted breakout classes and industry mentors met one-on-one with aspiring entrepreneurs.
“The world is quickly changing,” said Jennings. “More people need to be builders and creators. We can’t be consumers.”
