After the game, Lauren Betts spoke about finally advancing to the national championship and, of course, that epic block.
💬 “I just wanted to win it so bad for this team. We work so hard, it’s just execution. When you work so hard in practice and … you’re consistent every day, great things happen.”
On the block:
💬 “My instincts. Just playing defense, protecting the basket. It’s what I do, helping my team out. We just earned another day with each other, and I’m so happy. … This group is amazing, and I love my team so much.”
Betts turns back to her team and yells, “We’re playing in the national championship!”
