LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — One person is in custody after a hit-and-run crash with suspected impairment in northwest Las Vegas Thursday morning, according to police.
Officers were dispatched just before 4:50 a.m. to a report of a collision at Rainbow Boulevard and Alexander Road, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said.
Before they arrived, one of the drivers fled from the scene. That person was taken into custody a short time later.
The other driver was taken to a hospital to be treated for injuries ranging from minor to moderate, according to LVMPD.
Impairment is suspected, though no further details were disclosed.
