In his post-match chat with TNT Sports, Harry Kane was reminded that he is the first English player to score 50 goals in a season for a team in Europe’s major leagues since 1931. Here is what he had to say about it.
💬 “It’s a reward for a lot of the hard work we put in. Not just me, but the team. It wouldn’t be possible without the players around me. For me it’s just about keeping it going.
“We’ve still got weeks six weeks left in a Bayern shirt, we have a World Cup in the summer and I want to stay physically fit, sharp and be out there to help the team. I’ll do what it takes to help the team: scoring goals, defending, assists, whatever it is.”
