The 2026 college basketball transfer portal closes for new entrants on Tuesday night. However, there’s still plenty of action left with 10 of the top 50 players still available — including four of the top five. Those names include three top-ranked players at their positions: Milan Momcilovic (PF), John Blackwell (SG) and Juke Harris (SF).
The 247Sports scouting department released an updated ranking of the top transfer portal players Monday, and we’ve compiled the best available names along with the latest insights on their recruitments.
“We adapt how we rank transfers every year,” said 247Sports national basketball analyst Travis Branham. “This year, we emphasized immediate impact over long-term upside, given the increased frequency of one-year transfers. So, while we may like the long-term upside of some players more, those who are ready to go from day one often earn higher rankings.”
