PHOENIX — New York-based Japanese restaurant concept Sushi by Boū will be opening its first Arizona location next month.
The chain, which has been growing across the U.S. quickly over the past few years, announced this week it will be opening inside the Westin Tempe in early May.
Sushi by Boū sets itself part from other sushi restaurants by only offering an omakase experience, a chef-guided tasting menu. The main offering is a 60-minute, 12-course menu, but guests can upgrade to a 17-course tasting with more decadent flavors or a more luxurious tasting with caviar, foi gras, wagyu and bone marrow.
“Tempe has an incredible dining culture and energy, embracing the rise of atmospheric dining, where the experience is just as intentional as the menu itself,” Erika London, CEO of Sushi by Boū, said in a statement. “Opening inside The Westin Tempe allows us to bring our signature omakase and immersive experience to a vibrant new dining scene.”
