Two people were killed, and three others were hurt in a shooting on Tuesday that Carrollton Police say took place in a parking lot between known associates during a business meeting.

According to police, officers were called to a shooting in a parking lot near Texas 121 and Hebron Parkway at about 11 a.m. Officers arrived to find five victims, including two who have died and three who are hospitalized in stable condition.

After the shooting, police said the gunman was found several blocks away in the Koreatown area and was taken into custody after a short foot chase. The suspect was identified by police as 69-year-old Seung Han Ho.

The victims have not yet been publicly identified, but police did say all were adults.

Carrollton Police are still determining the motive in the shooting, but said the victims and the gunman were known to each other and were involved in a business relationship, and that there is no ongoing threat to the public.

NBC 5’s Sophia Beausoleil talked with witnesses at the scene, including one person who shared a video showing a half dozen officers, some carrying long guns, walking into a nearby restaurant.

The shooting covered multiple scenes around the intersection of Hebron Parkway and the Sam Rayburn Tollway. Investigators have cordoned off a large part of the parking lot in front of the Gwangjang Korean Market and established a mobile command center across the street in the McDonald’s parking lot.

Carrollton Police are asking people to avoid the area until the parking lot reopens.
