Mazak Corp. showcases a variety of equipment at the April grand opening of a new tech center in Phoenix.
In late April, Mazak Corp. hosted customers, workers, local officials and trade press at the grand opening of its new technical training center in Phoenix.
Also on hand were representatives from partner companies such as Mastercam, Kennametal, Jorgensen, Sandvik Coromant and Hexagon.
“We selected this area because of all the tremendous investment to support manufacturing,” company President Dan Janka said at the event, noting that the metro area has a large and growing manufacturing sector.
The facility will provide local sales and service support. During the event, Mazak demonstrated the tooling and cutting capabilities of various equipment: VC-Ez 26, Quick Turn 350, Variaxis C-600, Integrex i-200H ST, Syncrex 38/9 and HCN 4000 Neo.
