Ducks softball vs. Mississippi St. TV channel, time for NCAA regional

The NCAA Tournament’s Eugene Regional rolls on May 16 with a trio of games at Jane Sanders Stadium.

The No. 14-seeded Oregon softball team would like to keep its participation to a minimum.

The Ducks beat Idaho State 5-1 Friday in their tournament opener and will next play Mississippi State at 2 p.m. Saturday in the first game of the day. The Bulldogs defeated Saint Mary’s 3-2 in eight innings Friday.

The winner between Oregon and Mississippi State will advance to Sunday’s final day of the double-elimination regional. The loser will play again at 7 p.m. Saturday in a knock-out game against the winner of the 4:30 game between the Bengals and Gaels.
