MARICOPA, Arizona – The University of Denver wrapped up the 2025-26 Denver Athletics season with a second-place finish at the 2026 Golfweek National Golf Invitational which was played this weekend at the Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club.
Anna Neumayer led the Pioneers on the day with a two-under 70 to move all the way up to third on the individual leaderboard. Kaitlin Zingler carded an even-par 72 to finish in a tie for fourth and earn the Pioneers another top-five finish.
Raegan Capizzi shot a 72 on the day and finished three-over for the tournament to take T-9 in the final tournament of the campaign.
Wyoming won the tournament eight strokes ahead of Denver with a score of nine-over par. Addison Kartusch of Bowling Green won the tournament at seven-under par.
