The Denver Broncos wrapped up the second round of organized team activities (OTAs) on Thursday with their third practice of the week. Thursday’s session was the second practice open to media members, which will give fans the opportunity to see additional photos and videos to be shared from OTAs.

The biggest news of the day came when Broncos head coach Sean Payton agreed upon a new five-year deal, which is scheduled to begin in 2026, keeping him with the team through the 2030 campaign.

Here are some of the top moments and highlights from Thursday’s practice.

2.  Broncos share highlights from OTAs

3. Jonah Coleman was not at practice, but had a good reason

#Broncos rookie RB Jonah Coleman is not at practice today for OTAs. University of Washington RB coach Scottie Graham tells me he is now in Seattle for graduation ceremonies.

4. Here’s who missed Broncos OTAs on Thursday

Among #Broncos not participating in final OTA practice Thursday:
Bo Nix
J.K. Dobbins
Jonah Coleman
Brandon Jones
Alex Forsyth

#Broncos practice is wrapped. Media was present.

J.K. Dobbins not there today, he’s hosting kids’ football camp in New Mexico put on by agency LAA + agent Zac Hiller. Jonah Coleman also not present for graduation at Washington, Brandon Jones not here either (just had a baby!)

5. Bo Nix will participate in mandatory minicamp next week

Good sign: Bo Nix was once again out at practice with no brace or boot on his ankle.

While he did not practice, he was helping in the drills and right in the middle of the action.

Did see him jog, which was encouraging.

Sean Payton said Bo Nix did some walkthrough stuff with the Broncos this morning and he still expects to see him on the field in some fashion during next week’s minicamp.

— Nick Kosmider (@NickKosmider) June 11, 2026

Sean Payton said Bo Nix will be “completely clean mobility wise” when he gets back into action.

— Parker Gabriel (@ParkerJGabriel) June 11, 2026

6. Jeremy Crawshaw had some monster punts

Jeremy Crawshaw was hitting punts 70+ yards in the air. Consistently. Insane.

— Zac Stevens (@ZacStevensDNVR) June 11, 2026

7. Ja’Quan McMillian could be in Denver long-term

The way Payton is talking about Ja’Quan McMillan, I don’t see them letting him walk via free agency 👀

— MileHighReport (@MileHighReport) June 11, 2026

Sean Payton said Ja’Quan McMillian is “absolutely” a player the #Broncos want around long term.

“He has everything you’re looking for.”

— Parker Gabriel (@ParkerJGabriel) June 11, 2026

8. Broncos expected to move into new facility next week

Sean Payton said the Broncos’ new facility looks “fantastic.”

Team is expected to move into it in a week.

— Zac Stevens (@ZacStevensDNVR) June 11, 2026

9. Future head coaching roles for Broncos assistants wouldn’t be a surprise

Sean Payton expects there to be a number of his assistants to get future head coach chances, including Darren Rizzi.

— Chris Tomasson (@christomasson) June 11, 2026

— Chris Tomasson (@christomasson) June 11, 2026

10. DL Zach Allen expects defense to break NFL sack record in 2026

11. Que Robinson progress could impact Jonathon Cooper situation

The Broncos have wrapped up their second open practice of OTAs.

UDFA WR Dane Key had a nice day. Young front seven pieces Tyler Onyedim and Que Robinson also had some flash plays.

— Nick Kosmider (@NickKosmider) June 11, 2026

Que Robinson looked like a future starter for the Broncos when he played last year, per Vance Joseph.

Que has impressed the staff.

— Zac Stevens (@ZacStevensDNVR) June 11, 2026

12. OC Davis Webb: “This is a Sean Payton offensive philosophy”

Davis Webb makes clear: “This is a Sean Payton-coached football team. This is a Sean Payton offensive philosophy.”

— Luca Evans (@bylucaevans) June 11, 2026

New Broncos OC Davis Webb:

“I’m blessed to be here with a Gold Jacket head coach.”

He spoke at length about how he’ll rely on HC Sean Payton as he enters his first season as a play-caller. Talked about how there’s nobody better to have as a resource.

— Aric DiLalla (@AricDiLalla) June 11, 2026

13. Jaylen Waddle gets high praise from Davis Webb

Davis Webb compared #Broncos trading for Waddle in Bo Nix’s Year 3 to Bills trading for Stefon Diggs in Josh Allen’s Year 3.

“There’s some similarities of what’s started to happen here.”

On Waddle: “He is a blessing to be around. He’s a multiplier, he’s a thermostat.” pic.twitter.com/M6tAsIAYHE

— Luca Evans (@bylucaevans) June 11, 2026

The Broncos will have a five-day break before heading into mandatory minicamp, which will take place from June 16-18. By this time next week, all eyes will be on the surgically repaired ankle of quarterback Bo Nix.
