Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NCAA. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in FSU fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.

We wanted to know how Florida State fans were feeling after a rough year — and boy, did you let us know.

Only 9% of FSU fans surveyed are optimistic about the future of Seminoles’ sports, with the same percentage thinking that Florida State is figuring itself out with an upward trajectory.

The majority? Discouraged, feeling stuck with no path forward and doubtful in FSU’s ability to compete in the new era of college athletics. While the numbers say the fanbase hasn’t checked out entirely (only 17% say that they’re not invested), dangerous territory is being entered ahead of a football season where Vegas is setting FSU’s win total at 6.5.

1. How are you feeling as an FSU fan these days?

2. How would you describe the current direction of FSU athletics?

3. Is FSU capable of competing in the current era of college athletics?
