Atlanta Beltline Makes It Easier Than Ever to Volunteer Along the Trail

If you’ve ever wanted to give back to the Atlanta Beltline but weren’t sure where to start, it just got a lot easier.

Atlanta Beltline recently launched a new volunteer portal at volunteer.beltline.org, a dedicated online platform that connects Atlanta residents with volunteer opportunities along the corridor and makes it easy to track the impact of their service.

The portal centralizes everything volunteers need in one place: browsing and signing up for opportunities, completing required training and monitoring cumulative hours of service. From community events and trail clean-ups to guided bike tours, the portal makes it easy to find the right opportunity and get involved.

One Place for Everything

New volunteers start by completing a required orientation before signing up for their first shift. From there, they can browse available opportunities, register for events and track their hours directly through the portal.

The Beltline offers a wide range of ways to get involved, including trail clean-ups, event support, the Adopt-the-Beltline stewardship program, bike tour guiding, Empower Workshop assistance and advisory board participation.

“Volunteers help bring the Beltline to life every single day,” said Rob Brawner, Executive Director of Atlanta Beltline Partnership. “This new portal makes it easier for people to connect with opportunities that match their interests and strengthen connections across Atlanta through service and shared experiences.”

Milestones Worth Celebrating

To honor those who go the extra mile, the Beltline has introduced two milestone recognition tiers. Volunteers who log 50 hours earn Verified Volunteer recognition, and those who reach 100 hours are recognized as Influencer Volunteers. Each milestone is celebrated with an exclusive tee that marks their commitment to the community.

Everyone Is Welcome

The Beltline is committed to engaging the next generation of community stewards. Teen volunteers ages 16 and older are welcome to participate with a parent-signed waiver, and volunteers ages 14 and older may participate when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Get Involved

The Beltline is only as strong as the community that shows up for it. If you’re ready to be part of that, the portal is waiting.
