Henderson will get a new Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar on Monday at 530 N. Stephanie St., bringing with it approximately 120 jobs to the local workforce.
Flynn Group LP, the Pasadena, Calif.-based company that operates the Applebee’s franchise, ranks as the largest franchise operator in the world and the third-largest restaurant operator in the United States, behind only Starbucks and Chipotle.
The 5,500-square-foot location, which previously housed a Marie Callender’s Restaurant & Bakery, includes open dining areas with multiple seating configurations and an updated bar area. Regular hours will be 11 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
Brad Miller, market president of Flynn Applebee’s Las Vegas, said the company plans to engage with the Henderson community through local partnerships and fundraisers.
“We’re proud to continue serving the community in a refreshed new restaurant where guests can gather and enjoy the great food, warm hospitality and welcoming neighborhood atmosphere Applebee’s is known for,” Miller said.
Flynn Group operates more than 3,000 restaurants and fitness clubs across eight brands in 44 states, Australia and New Zealand. The company was founded in 1999 and employs more than 78,000 people. Flynn Applebee’s owns and operates 459 Applebee’s locations across 25 states.
