The Boston Bruins traded former first-round pick Fabian Lysell to the Colorado Avalanche for forward Ivan Ivan over the weekend. The move was not necessarily surprising, as Lysell failed to blossom into an NHL talent on the Bruins.

With the Bruins trading Lysell, let’s take a look at three more Bruins who could be traded next this summer.

With Pavel Zacha entering the final year of his contract in 2026-27, questions about his future with the Bruins have come up. The Athletic’s Pierre LeBrun reported last week that the Bruins were listening to trade offers for Zacha. However, he also noted that the Bruins’ top goal is to still sign Zacha to a contract extension.

If contract extension negotiations do not go well with Zacha, the Bruins could very well sell high on him. The 29-year-old forward just had a career year, setting new career highs with 30 goals, 35 assists, and 65 points. Trading him would create a major hole in their lineup, though.

Mason Lohrei has the been the subject of trade rumors since this past season. If the Bruins want to make some upgrades to their roster, the 25-year-old defenseman could be exactly the NHL-caliber player they include in a trade package.

Lohrei has struggled with consistency but could still generate a good amount of interest because of his young age and upside. In 73 games this past season with the Black and Gold, he posted seven goals and 25 points.

With Michael DiPietro coming off back-to-back AHL Goalie of the Year wins, it is time for the Bruins to finally give him a shot at the NHL level. Because of this, the Bruins would be wise to shop Joonas Korpisalo this summer. This year’s goalie free agent market being weak, so the veteran netminder could generate some interest.

Korpisalo’s $3 million cap hit is a bit high for what he provides for Boston. In 31 games last season for the Black and Gold, he had an .894 save percentage and a 3.15 goals-against average. With this, it would make sense for the Bruins to trade him if he has any suitors.
