DXC Technology has appointed Paul Taylor as president and named Dan Gray president of Global Infrastructure Services as part of a broader leadership restructuring centered on artificial intelligence, operational accountability and faster execution.

The appointments are effective immediately. Taylor succeeds Raul Fernandez as president, while Fernandez will continue serving as DXC’s chief executive officer.

Taylor will lead DXC’s global operating business with responsibility for customer growth, commercial execution, profitability, operational performance and service delivery across the company’s approximately $13 billion business.

His responsibilities will span DXC’s five geographic markets and three global operating businesses: Global Infrastructure Services, Consulting & Engineering Services, and Insurance Software & Business Process Services.

Gray will lead Global Infrastructure Services, while Ramnath Venkataraman will continue serving as president of Consulting & Engineering Services and Ray August will remain president of Insurance Software & Business Process Services. Gray, Venkataraman and August will report to Taylor.

DXC said bringing its markets and operating businesses under a single leader will simplify decision-making, improve accountability and help the company respond more quickly to customer needs.

Taylor has more than 30 years of experience across enterprise technology and financial markets. He previously served as a partner at IHS Markit during a period of profitable growth that culminated in the company’s sale to S&P Global.

Most recently, Taylor founded and led HUB, an AI-driven financial technology company acquired by OSTTRA. The business used AI agents and workflow automation as central elements of its operating model.

DXC said Taylor’s experience building AI-enabled businesses will support the company’s dual Core and Fast Track strategy. He will be responsible for unifying commercial and operating teams while helping DXC improve sustainable revenue growth and customer outcomes.

Gray has spent 19 years at DXC and has led technology strategy and service delivery for some of the company’s largest global clients. He has also worked in enterprise information technology as deputy chief information officer.

Most recently, Gray served as vice president and chief technology officer for Global Infrastructure Services. In that position, he led Global Technical Customer Operations, a team of more than 45,000 technology professionals.

The organization provides infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, mainframe, workplace and business process services to large global enterprises.

Gray also helped lead the development and deployment of DXC OASIS, moving the platform from concept to production in slightly more than a year.

As president of Global Infrastructure Services, Gray will work with Taylor to increase the use of AI-powered services, sharpen the business’s operating focus and help customers generate more value from mission-critical technology systems.

The leadership changes follow DXC’s appointment of Holly Grant as president of AI Innovation and Strategy & LabX. LabX serves as the company’s AI-native product incubation operation and AI Platforms Engine and is positioned as an important component of DXC’s Fast Track strategy.

Chris Drumgoole, who previously served as president of Global Infrastructure Services, will leave DXC for a leadership role outside the company.

Drumgoole will remain connected to DXC as a founding member of the company’s newly established CEO Advisory Council. In that role, he will continue advising Fernandez and other members of DXC’s leadership team.

The restructuring places Taylor, Gray and Grant at the center of DXC’s effort to use AI across its services, customer operations and internal execution.

KEY QUOTES:

“These appointments put new AI-centric leadership front and center at DXC and accelerate our dual Core and Fast Track strategy. Paul’s entrepreneurial mindset is exactly what we need to unify our commercial and operating organizations so we can fully leverage our world-class technology and execute with greater speed, accountability and customer focus.”

“Paul and Dan, together with Holly Grant, who was announced earlier this week as President, AI Innovation and Strategy & LabX, each bring a proven ability to build, simplify and deliver at scale. Together, they will accelerate the momentum we’ve created for our customers, with our partners and for our people.”

Raul Fernandez, CEO of DXC Technology

“DXC has an exceptional customer base, great people with deep technical capabilities and a unique opportunity to help many of the world’s largest organizations modernize and transform through AI.”

“By bringing our markets and global offerings together under one operating organization, we can move faster, execute more effectively and deliver greater value for our customers. Our focus will be on driving sustainable revenue growth, strengthening customer partnerships, delivering operational excellence and creating measurable business outcomes for our customers.”

Paul Taylor, President of DXC Technology
