Give Blood for a Chance to See the Cowboys
South Texas Blood & Tissue is offering football fans a chance to win Dallas Cowboys tickets while helping replenish the region’s critically low blood supply.
Anyone who donates blood at a donor center through Sept. 6 and uses promo code FOOTBALL will be entered into a drawing for two lower-level tickets to the Cowboys’ Sept. 20 game against the Washington Commanders, plus a one-night stay at Gaylord Texan. The promotion comes as blood donations continue to decline across South Texas and nationwide, potentially forcing hospitals to make difficult decisions involving surgeries, treatments and other patient care.
One blood donation can help as many as three people. Type O donors are especially needed because O negative red blood cells can be given to patients of any blood type, while O positive is the most common blood type in South Texas.
Eligible donors can schedule an appointment at SouthTexasBlood.org or call 833-YOU-GIVE or 210-731-5590. Donors should bring a photo ID and use the FOOTBALL promo code to enter the drawing.
