A new collector-focused watch event called The Escapement will make its world debut in Las Vegas from Feb. 5 to 7, 2027, organizers announced Wednesday, bringing leading watchmakers and collectors to T-Mobile Arena and Sphere Las Vegas.
Confirmed brands include Greubel Forsey, Romain Gauthier, Biver, Ming, Armin Strom and Czapek. Programming will include expert panels developed with the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry, hands-on workshops, masterclasses and the inaugural Rubis Awards, an independent program honoring excellence in contemporary watchmaking. Music, comedy and cultural programming round out the schedule.
The three-day schedule calls for a VIP opening party and philanthropic auction Feb. 5 at Sphere; a full day of exhibition and programming Feb. 6 at T-Mobile Arena followed by a comedy evening; and a second day of programming culminating in the Rubis Awards and a closing musical performance on Feb. 7.
The event was originally planned for Abu Dhabi in November, but organizers relocated it after extended corporate travel restrictions affected participating companies. Tickets go on sale in early September at theEscapement.com.
