Las Vegas’ notable hotels go well beyond casinos and shopping, with notable restaurants and entertainment, spas, and nightlife all part of the experience. Whether you’re planning a couples getaway, a family trip or a work conference, we’ve selected the city’s standout properties for a range of travelers.

Our top recommendation is the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas, with its refined accommodations and rare non-gaming atmosphere. If you’re traveling as a couple, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas makes it easy to balance downtime in a private terrace suite with dinner and entertainment downstairs, while the Bellagio’s Mediterranean-inspired five-pool complex is great for families and groups. Below, we’ve curated the best hotels in Las Vegas.

Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas

Who Will Love It: Luxury seekers and wellness fans

All-Star Amenities: Dedicated adults-only pool; two-story spa with heated relaxation chairs; en-suite soaking tubs with Strip views

What Not To Miss: Afternoon tea at Peacock Alley with Waldorf salad finger sandwiches and Champagne

Location: Central Strip

After undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation in 2025, the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas features fully refreshed rooms and suites, as well as a relocated ground-floor lobby with crystal chandeliers and rich navy-and-gold accents. Another addition is Peacock Alley, a tea parlor and lounge, inspired by the historic Waldorf Astoria New York, where you can enjoy afternoon tea or an evening cocktail overlooking the Strip. At the 27,000-square-foot spa, a dedicated spa concierge can help arrange treatments and guide you through the invigorating hydrotherapy spa circuit. The Waldorf is one of the few non-gaming (and non-smoking) destinations in Las Vegas, which makes it a quieter escape. “It’s tucked away and feels like a boutique hotel,” says Aleza Freeman, Las Vegas native and journalist. Still, everything from designer shops to buzzy restaurants—like the Spanish seafood hotspot Bazaar Mar from chef José Andrés—is within easy walking distance.

Best Hotel Pool In Las Vegas: Bellagio Resort & Casino

The Bellagio pool deck has two resort pools, two lap pools and an adults-only pool.

Bellagio Resort & Casino

Who Will Love It: Families with older kids; friends and multigenerational groups

All-Star Amenities: Complimentary poolside yoga; fountain-view dining; VIP lounge with private check-in and personal concierge

What Not To Miss: A sweet treat at Cafe Gelato; Sadelle’s bagel tower with three tiers of house-cured salmon for breakfast

Location: Central Strip

The Bellagio resort does nothing on a small scale, from Dale Chihuly’s 2,000-square-foot “Fiori di Como” glass-blown installation in the lobby to the famed choreographed water fountain show that guests can watch daily. The resort’s newly refreshed Mediterranean-style pool courtyard is similarly grand, sitting at the center of the property and surrounded by perfectly manicured topiaries, umbrella-shaded lounge chairs and tent-top cabanas where you can relax all day. For swimming, choose from multiple resort pools and lap pools, or reserve a spot at the secluded, adults-only Cypress Pool set inside a private garden. The hotel’s casino is laid out so it leads to the resort’s restaurants, including Chef Michael Mina’s flagship seafood restaurant, which often features unique tasting menus designed around seasonal ingredients.

Best Hotel For Couples In Las Vegas: The Cosmopolitan Of Las Vegas

The first level of the Chandelier cocktail bar is open 24 hours a day.

The Cosmopolitan Of Las Vegas

Who Will Love It: Couples and honeymooners

All-Star Amenities: Private terraces; full-service spa with Turkish hamman; poolside treatments and massages

What Not To Miss: The Verbena cocktail at The Chandelier; a private yoga class; Art-O-Mat vending machines that dispense tiny artworks

Location: Central Strip

The Cosmopolitan is ideal for couples who want to enjoy the city—and not worry about planning an itinerary. “Everything is here, so you can be spontaneous,” says Freeman. Spacious 720-square-foot one-bedroom suites feature oversized private balconies, separate living and sleeping areas and deep Japanese soaking tubs. For celebratory drinks, head to The Chandelier, a three-level cocktail bar with a glittering ceiling accented with millions of suspended crystals, or find the hidden speakeasy Beauty and Essex, accessible through a fake pawn-shop-inspired entrance. The 43,000 square-foot Sahra Spa on the eighth floor provides a tranquil escape with its Turkish-style hammam and yoga room for private classes. A few levels down, the Boulevard Pool on the fourth-floor deck gives stunning evening views of the Strip, including the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas.

Best Hotel For Business Travelers In Las Vegas: The Venetian Resort Las Vegas

Suites at The Venetian have sunken living rooms, separate dining areas and some have views of the Sphere, depending on your floor.

The Venetian Resort Las Vegas

Who Will Love It: Business travelers; families; friend groups

All-Star Amenities: 160 Grand Canal Shoppes; in-suite custom floral displays; Aquavana thermal spa

What Not To Miss: The private omakase experience at Wakuda; singing gondoliers

Location: North Central Strip

With its all-suite accommodations and central location that provides easy, direct access to the Venetian Expo convention hall, The Venetian Resort makes balancing work and downtime effortless. Suites start at a roomy 650 square feet and feature separate living areas with dedicated workspaces, ideal for catching up on emails and taking calls or informal meetings. The Prestige Club level rooms come with extra perks, including a dedicated concierge, private check-in plus complimentary breakfast, and small bites and evening cocktails in the lounge. After a day of events and presentations, take a dip in the secluded South Tower pool, which stays open late along with poolside French bistro Bouchon. Or break a sweat in one of the three gyms at Canyon Ranch Spa and Fitness, which also has a 40-foot rock-climbing wall.

Best Hotel For Spa And Wellness In Las Vegas: Fontainebleau Las Vegas

The Stargazing Room at the Fontainebleau spa is part of the four-hour Celestial Waters experience.

Fontainebleau Las Vegas

Who Will Love It: Wellness seekers; spa and fitness enthusiasts

All-Star Amenities: Private cabanas at the adults-only pool with dedicated servers; Fleur De Lis suites with butler service

What Not To Miss: The formerly off-menu lobster mac ‘n cheese at Don’s Prime; Muhammad Ali’s boxing gloves in the Hall of Excellence; al fresco poolside movie screenings

Location: North Strip

Anchored by the 55,000-square-foot Lapis Spa & Wellness, The Fontainebleau Las Vegas is the go-to wellness destination in the city. Plan to spend a few hours navigating through the restorative Celestial Waters thermal circuit, featuring hot and cold plunge pools, an infrared sauna, Himalayan salt room, and immersive hydrotherapies. Self-care enthusiasts can also take part in Aufguss, a 15-minute sauna ritual that incorporates essential oil-infused ice and sound healing. Wellness extends beyond the spa too, with the six-acre Oasis pool deck and on-call personal trainers at the gym who will customize a complete routine of lunges, squats, burpees and more. Back in your room, floor-to-ceiling windows frame mountain, pool or Strip views, while upgrading to a suite adds more space to unwind complete with oversized showers or deep soaking tubs.

Best Hotel For Nightlife In Las Vegas: Encore At The Wynn

The Sinatra restaurant at Encore is home to the late star’s Oscar statue for “From Here To Eternity” and other memorabilia.

Encore At The Wynn

Who Will Love It: Friend groups; couples or travelers celebrating an anniversary or special occasion

All-Star Amenities: Private casino floor; Sinatra restaurant with the star’s Oscar statue; Italian marble bathrooms with deep soaking tubs

What Not To Miss: Late nights at the five-table Little Bubble Bar; the Bohemian Chic mocktail at Casa Playa, made with tongue-tingling “Electricdust” powder

Location: North Strip

Vegas has no shortage of nightlife but the Encore, the sister resort to Wynn Las Vegas, carves out its own scene with a dedicated casino floor, nightclub and day club—all of which have a more intimate vibe, according to Freeman. At The Beach Club, you can sip cocktails by the three-tiered pool with DJ-fueled dance parties until 6:00 p.m., while night owls will enjoy the evening pool parties three times a week until 4:00 a.m. Or head to Eastside Lounge for dueling piano sessions—requests are taken from the crowd into the wee hours. As an added perk, guests have access to the Wynn amenities, including live shows, casinos and bars, which are easily reached via a connected walkway. When it comes to dining, Freeman recommends booking at least one dinner at Encore’s Sinatra, which serves the star’s personal recipe for spaghetti and clams, and another at the Delilah at Wynn, a sophisticated supper club where jazz singers and showgirls take the stage nightly.

Best Hotel For Families In Las Vegas: Four Seasons Las Vegas

Poolside service at the Four Seasons Las Vegas includes Evian facial spritzes, frozen fruit skewers and flavored popsicles.

Four Seasons Las Vegas

Who Will Love It: Families with young children; multigenerational groups

All-Star Amenities: Luxury pool plus access to 11-acre water park; spa with co-ed zen lounge and couple’s treatment rooms; in-room fitness equipment and private personal training sessions

What Not To Miss: Buttercup mani-pedi for ages 12 and under; Shark Reef Aquarium, home to 2,000 sea creatures; Maine lobster pot pie at Bourbon Steak

Location: South Strip

Occupying the top floors of Mandalay Bay tower, the Four Seasons Las Vegas pairs the service the hotel is known for with a non-gaming (and non-smoking) atmosphere and plenty of family amenities. For parents traveling with babies and toddlers, the resort provides travel cribs, baby bathtubs, high chairs and complimentary diapers to help simplify packing. Coloring books, toys and a bedtime glass of milk (non-dairy options are available, too) are also available for younger kids. The concierge can also arrange babysitting and child-proofing services, such as providing outlet covers. The resort pool features family-sized cabanas and a children’s menu at the poolside cafe. Guests also have access to Mandalay Bay’s 11-acre water park with three pools, a lazy river, a separate wave pool and a freshly combed sandy beach.
