SALT LAKE CITY — Comcast announced the start of construction on a network expansion project that will bring Xfinity and Comcast Business services to nearly 2,400 homes and businesses in Kamas and Francis, Utah. Once complete, residents and businesses will have access to multi-gigabit, symmetrical Internet and a full suite of connectivity, mobile, entertainment, and smart home services delivered over America’s smartest and most reliable converged network.

Construction is now underway, with the first customers expected to become serviceable this fall and the full project expected to be completed by the end of 2026. Residents can visit Xfinity.com/MyTown and enter their addresses for additional details on construction timing and upcoming service availability.

The Kamas and Francis expansion is part of Comcast’s ongoing investment in Utah and its commitment to bringing reliable, high-speed connectivity to more communities across the state.

“Comcast is proud to bring Xfinity and Comcast Business to Kamas and Francis, delivering reliable connectivity built for how Utahns live, work and stay connected,” said J.D. Keller, Regional Senior Vice President of Comcast’s Mountain West Region. “From powering connected households to helping local businesses grow and thrive, this investment brings trusted technology, fast Internet and simple, value-driven pricing to these communities as we continue expanding our network across the state.”
