San Antonio Residents Are Invited to Bring Their Families and Lawn Chairs to a Free Celebration of R&B, Blues and West Side Community
Live R&B and blues music will fill ACME Park when the Westside R&B & Blues Festival returns Saturday, Sept. 26, for a free celebration of music, local businesses and San Antonio’s West Side community.
The festival will run from 4 to 9 p.m. at ACME Park, 534 S. Acme Road.
Nellie “Tiger” Travis Headlines Festival
Acclaimed blues singer Nellie “Tiger” Travis will headline the festival. Travis is known for her commanding vocals and songs including “Mr. Sexy Man,” which became a popular Southern soul anthem.
The entertainment lineup will also feature performances by GSB, 34K, Aylia, Spitcup and the Jukes. A DJ will provide additional music throughout the evening.
Free Music and Family Entertainment
Admission to the Westside R&B & Blues Festival is free. Attendees are encouraged to bring their families and lawn chairs for an afternoon and evening of live entertainment.
In addition to the musical performances, the festival will feature food and local vendors. The gathering is intended to bring residents, musicians and businesses together while celebrating the culture and community of San Antonio’s West Side.
The 2026 festival is presented by the L.D. Howard for House District 124 campaign, whose sponsorship is helping make the free community event possible.
