FIU-Freedom Day Juneteenth Event: Saturday, June 15
FIU is celebrating Juneteenth with its annual “Freedom Day” event at the Street Dotson Family Pavilion in Miami.
According to FIU, chairs and mats are welcomed to the outdoor event which will include live music, food, dancing, and many more free fun activities.
The event starts at 1 p.m.
Juneteenth Beach Bash: Saturday, June 22
Juneteenth Beach Bash brings you and your family some fun on the beach including face painting and bounce houses, a petting zoo, food and drinks, and live music all at Virginia Key Beach Park.
The event takes place from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
World Sickle Cell Day awareness concert and Juneteenth pop-up: Saturday, June 15.
The event takes place at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex on Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.
