A $430 million data center development is planned to start construction later this year in Fort Worth, according to a state filing.
The project, named Colovore Alliance, will be a one-story 156,500-square-foot building with four data center halls, a Tuesday filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows.
Construction is scheduled to begin in December and last two years.
The address of the site is listed as 14700 Heritage Parkway along Interstate 35W. The property is located in Hillwood’s 27,000-acre AllianceTexas development that spans north Fort Worth and southern Denton County.
Details in TDLR filings are preliminary but offer a broad overview of work scope and estimated construction costs. Texas law requires registration for most commercial construction projects with an estimated cost of $50,000 or more.
Colovore, headquartered in Santa Clara, Calif., has several data center projects under construction or planned in several states and in the nation’s hottest data center markets, including Dallas-Fort Worth, Atlanta and Northern Virginia.
The company’s website shows four data center projects in Texas, including ones listed “under construction” in Fort Worth, Mesquite and Hutto. Another was listed as a “future planned site” in Johnson County.
The North Texas data centers on Colovore’s website include DFW01, which will be a 44.8 megawatt facility in Mesquite, and DFW02, a 32 megawatt facility in Fort Worth.
