Women’s Swim & Dive Hosts Denver and Washington State in First Home Meet

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo., – Air Force women’s swimming and diving (0-1) is set to host Denver (0-0) and Washington State (1-0) in their home opener on Friday October 16 at 5 p.m. MT in the Cadet Natatorium.

The Falcons fell 163-137 at Wyoming on Saturday October 10 and recorded six wins on the day. Ellie Foulke led Air Force as the high-point of the meet, scoring 22 after picking up two wins in the 200 back (2:01.46) and the 200 IM (2:07.22) and a silver finish in the 1000 free (10:16.00). Senior captain Naomi Furman won the 100 breast (1:03.11), Natalie Doig finished on top of the 200 fly (2:05.76), while Lexi Gregory placed first on the 1-meter (268.95) and freshman Helena Gibson went for the top spot on the 3-meter (298.05).

Washington State is 1-0 after defeating Seattle U 219-43 on Saturday October 10. The Cougars swept every event of the meet and boast 61 top-ten Pac-12 times.
