Quaint Miami pasta shop Luna Pasta e Dolci Take-Away on Biscayne Boulevard has just been ranked the sixth-best pasta spot in the entire U.S.

MiMo pasta shop Luna Pasta e Dolci Take-Away has placed No. 6 on Yelp’s first Top 100 Pasta Places list, making it Florida’s highest-ranked entry.

The family-run business is the only Miami spot on the 2026 list, with Hollywood’s Mimi’s Ravioli joining it as the other South Florida pick.

The recognition goes to chef-owner Gabriel Medici’s take-away shop at 6815 Biscayne Blvd., Ste. 101, which also runs a sit-down restaurant a block away at 6927 Biscayne Blvd. Therefore, double-check the address before heading over for dinner.

You can pick up uncooked fresh pasta and house-made sauces to prepare at home, too.

Filled pasta and dinner to-go

Yelp singled out Luna’s filled pastas, including pear-and-ricotta agnolotti and salmon ravioloni, along with the “Golden Plate,” a dish of ricotta-and-truffle tortelloni with mushrooms in demi-glace cream sauce in its write-up of the restaurant.

Other highlights include pear agnolotti, with Parmesan cream and sautéed pears, and salmon-and-ricotta ravioloni, with white-wine cream sauce, asparagus, and lemon zest. The menu also includes ossobuco-filled agnolotti with tomato sauce, prosciutto, mushrooms, and peas.

You can also pick up uncooked fresh pasta and house-made sauces to prepare at home. Empanadas and desserts, including Nutella tiramisu and chaja cake, round out the options.

The national recognition follows a difficult stretch for the business. In January 2025, New Times reported that Luna had experienced six burglaries and two failed attempts in less than a year. Neighbors helped organize fundraising support for the family.

Two South Florida picks

Hollywood Italian market Mimi’s Ravioli landed at No. 38. The shop at 5714 Johnson St. makes fresh pasta daily, including ravioli, cannelloni, gnocchi, and fettuccine, and sells prepared foods and house-made mozzarella.

Florida claimed eight spots overall, just behind New York and Washington, which each had nine. The remaining Florida entries are in Tampa, Sarasota, Orlando, St. Petersburg, and Davenport.

For the ranking, Yelp evaluated businesses in its pasta shops category using factors including review volume and ratings, limiting each state to ten entries for geographic diversity. Despite the 2026 title, Yelp describes it as an all-time list.

The company also reported that searches for “pasta shops” increased 52 percent between September 2025 and August 2026 compared with the previous 12 months.
