SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah — Fix Auto USA, a premier collision repair network delivering consistent, high-quality repairs through skilled professionals and customer-focused care, announces the opening of Fix Auto South Salt Lake, located at 3218 S W Temple St, South Salt Lake, UT 84115.

Owned and operated by Efrain Perez, Fix Auto South Salt Lake is Efrain’s third Fix Auto USA location and further expands his commitment to delivering high-quality collision repair services while maintaining a strong focus on family values, customer care, and community involvement.

The approximately 14,000-square-foot facility is staffed by a team of five professionals and is equipped to provide full-service collision repair with room to support future growth. Services include body and structural repairs, estimating, refinishing and paint matching, parts replacement, vehicle diagnostics, glass replacement, and post-repair calibrations. The shop works with all insurance carriers and assists customers throughout the claims and repair process to ensure a seamless repair experience.

For Perez, the collision repair industry is more than a profession. It is a lifelong passion rooted in family and tradition.

“I grew up in my father’s body shop in Colombia, surrounded by the sounds of tools, welding sparks, bodywork, and fresh paint,” said Efrain Perez, owner of Fix Auto South Salt Lake. “Although my father hoped I would choose an easier career, I was drawn to the industry and learned by watching him and helping wherever I could. He taught me honesty, responsibility, hard work, and the importance of being proud of anything that carries your name. Today, owning three body shops is something I am incredibly grateful for, and the values my father instilled in me continue to guide how we serve our customers and community every day.”

Perez added that the business has become a true family endeavor.

“What makes this journey especially meaningful is that Fix Auto USA has become a family business in every sense. My wife, Rebeca, serves as co-owner and General Manager, and my brother, my son, several close friends, and even my father are actively involved in the business. Seeing everything come full circle, from growing up in my father’s shop in Colombia to building this business together as a family, is incredibly special.”

As the South Salt Lake location grows, the team looks forward to supporting local families, schools, youth programs, and community events while building lasting relationships throughout the region.

“We joined Fix Auto because its values align with our commitment to quality, integrity, and customer service,” Perez said. “The franchise provides strong operational support, industry resources, national brand recognition, and access to a trusted network, while still allowing us to remain locally owned and actively involved in our community.”

“Efrain’s story is a powerful example of entrepreneurship, perseverance, and dedication to the collision repair industry,” said Damien Reyna, Chief Operating Officer, Driven Brand Collision Group. “From learning the trade in his father’s shop in Colombia to building a successful multi-location business in the United States, Efrain has remained committed to quality repairs, exceptional customer service, and investing in the communities he serves. We are proud to celebrate the opening of Fix Auto South Salt Lake and welcome this location to the growing Fix Auto USA network.”

Please join the network in welcoming Fix Auto South Salt Lake to the Fix Auto USA family.
