Today on Texas Eats NOW:
ON THE MENU | PAZZO’S MARKET & DELI
13777 Nacogdoches Rd #105, San Antonio, TX 78217
Pazzo’s Market & Deli makes its bread from scratch every day, with meats sliced fresh, cheese melted to order and sandwiches built in front of the customer. Chef and owner Sean Archer runs the counter, baking focaccia, muffuletta bread and an Italian loaf in house and keeping the sandwich list stacked with Italian classics.
At the top of the menu is the Wembanyummy French Dunk, which is inspired by Victor Wembanyama. It’s made with house bread brushed with garlic butter and toasted, then loaded with about eight ounces of house roasted beef pulled from hot au jus and topped with smoked mozzarella, served with au jus on the side. The chicken parm sandwich pairs a fresh cutlet with marinara, fresh mozzarella and parmesan on garlic bread. Cold options include a layered build of calabrese, capicola and prosciutto with smoked mozzarella, arugula, tomato, onion and balsamic glaze.

ON THE MENU | DONDO’S BBQ
1903 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237
Dondo’s BBQ sits off Castroville Road serving Central Texas style barbecue, cooked over post oak with salt and pepper doing the seasoning work.
Brisket leads the counter, tender and perfectly seasoned, alongside a classic kielbasa style link made with fresh garlic and a casing with a good snap. Pork ribs get about seven hours of smoke with mustard as a binder and a glaze of molasses, brown sugar and apple cider vinegar, and the smoked turkey rests in straight butter. Their popular Texas Twinkies are hollowed jalapenos filled with chopped brisket and cheddar, wrapped in bacon, smoked and finished with the house barbecue sauce. Sides include charro beans, gruyere mac and cheese, rajas con crema, collard greens and potato salad.

ON THE MENU | COSTA PACIFICA
434 N. Loop 1604 W., Ste. 2101, San Antonio, TX 78232
Costa Pacifica brings the bold coastal flavors of Mexico to San Antonio with fresh seafood inspired by Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlán. The menu features signature dishes like the Torre Lida tuna tower, shrimp aguachile, tuna carpaccio, and Pulpo J, featuring grilled octopus served with quesadillas. Guests can also enjoy fresh ceviches, Ensenada-style shrimp tacos, whole fried red snapper, bacon-wrapped shrimp, and coconut shrimp. With colorful seafood creations, refreshing margaritas, and a lively coastal atmosphere, Costa Pacifica offers a taste of Mexico’s Pacific coast in San Antonio.

ON THE MENU | WAGYU FACTORY
11745 I-10 Ste 414, San Antonio, TX 78230
Wagyu Factory is an all-you-can-eat hot pot and barbecue concept on San Antonio’s northwest side. The restaurant sets itself apart with premium Wagyu beef sourced from three different countries — Japan, Australia, and the United States — all included in one flat price. Beyond the grills, the experience extends to a fully stocked buffet, self-serve soft-serve ice cream, a customizable sauce bar, and an on-site arcade featuring free-play Street Fighter.
The menu covers an impressive range, with options like American Wagyu steak, Australian Wagyu thin slices, A5 top round, black pepper beef cubes, and Texas Wagyu brisket available at dinner. Guests can also grill squid, shrimp, chicken meatballs, and pork belly — both thick-cut and thinly sliced — alongside marinated pork belly finished with green onion oil. Hot prepared items include chow mein, Italian kimchi pasta, Wagyu beef stir fry, and the guest-favorite Wagyu fried rice, while the sushi station features smoked salmon rolls, white tail, and a spicy salmon roll wrapped in tofu skin.
