The Breakfast Tacos will debut on the field April 16–18, 2027

SAN ANTONIO – Get ready to cheer for something you already eat every morning.

The San Antonio Missions announced Thursday that the San Antonio Breakfast Tacos will be the club’s new alternate identity, taking the field for the first time during the 2027 regular season, April 16 through April 18.

“San Antonio has always stood at the intersection of Mexican and American culture,” said Missions General Manager David Gasaway. “Nowhere is that more present than the breakfast taco.”

The Breakfast Tacos join the Flying Chanclas, introduced in 2018, as a nod to the city’s Hispanic culture. Gasaway said the new identity honors “a food that has fully captured the essence of San Antonio.”
