Current Radar:

Check out our current radar below. Showers are possible today, they will drift from east to west.

Tropical Outlook:

Tropical Storm Alberto officially made landfall in Mexico around 7AM a.m. near Tampico. The terrain is rough, which will quickly tear Alberto apart into a remnant low pressure by this afternoon. Goodbye, and good riddance, Alberto!

Today’s Forecast:

Meanwhile in Houston today, we will get back to a more typical summer forecast: Hot, sticky and humid. We’ll see a few scattered afternoon storms leftover from the overall flow of Alberto as it moves into Mexico. The weekend will be hot and mostly rain-free aside from a few afternoon pop-up storms each afternoon.

10-Day Forecast:

Early week’s tropical downpours will keep temperatures in the 80s. Rain chances will drop over the weekend but we stay in a wet pattern along the Gulf Coast next week.
