The Indiana Economic Development Corp. on Wednesday announced plans to make additional resources available to support entrepreneurs and small businesses throughout the state. Among the resources is an Indiana stop on the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Seed Fund Road Tour later this month.

“Indiana ranks among the top destinations to start a business, and we continue to bolster this ecosystem with even more funding opportunities and no-cost resources and programs,” Indiana Secretary of Commerce David Rosenberg said in a news release. “By providing comprehensive financing and services from business ideation to business starts and scaling, we’re ensuring Hoosier entrepreneurs and small businesses can start stronger, grow more quickly and enjoy long-term success here in Indiana.”

The tour is part of a national outreach effort designed to connect entrepreneurs to non-dilutive technology funding opportunities. The event will take place July 16 at Innovation Hall in downtown Indianapolis. You can register for the event here.

The IEDC is also touting the state’s technical assistance plan to help entrepreneurs and small businesses gain access to and apply for funding opportunities. The program is made available by federal funding through the State Small Business Credit Initiative.

Additionally, the state’s Venture Capital Investment tax credit is available for startups and fast-growing companies get access to capital by providing additional incentives for investors to invest in such companies.
