The Odessa Police Department Honor Guard had the privilege of attending the funeral Friday for Fallen Harris County Deputy Fernando Esqueda.
Esqueda passed away July 11 after being shot in an ambush attack by a wanted subject. Deputy Esqueda was a member of the Violent Persons Task Force and had been with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office for approximately 5 years.
The Odessa Police Department would like to extend its condolences to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office and family of Deputy Esqueda.
