The City of Turlock is joining forces with the United States Small Business Administration (SBA), Fresno State and the  Central Valley Women’s Entrepreneurial Center to offer a free, in-person seminar for new and existing businesses of all sizes and entrepreneurs on how to access capital funding.

According to a city press release, the seminar — taking place Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Carnegie Arts Center — will show attendees how capital funding can benefit businesses, the different loan programs that are available, how to apply to loans, how much can be borrowed, what lenders and the SBA seek in applications, information about government contracting, counseling and training resources available and information on disaster assistance programs.

Those interested in attending can register at https://ishortn.ink/ATCSBA. Free refreshments will also be provided.

For more information, community members are encouraged to email Miguel Preciado at MiguelPreciado@mail.fresnostate.edu or by calling (559) 278-5461.
